Over the past couple of days, the students have been doing a
lot of practice with dividing decimals. They have learned several ways to
figure out these types of problems through various techniques. It has been
impressive to see how many of the students have caught on and have figured out
their own way of solving these types of problems. The students also learned a
few new properties. They have learned the associative and commutative
properties. They will be working more with these properties in the upcoming chapters.
The students also had MAPS testing on Tuesday. I would like
to say thank you to all of the students for their efforts on the test. It was
great to see so many of them improving their scores and growing as
mathematicians.
